We visited here for en early Friday dinner and it wasn’t long before the restaurant was filled with groups of all sizes enjoying the lively atmosphere and delicious food. The vibe was welcoming, and the staff were super friendly, helping us navigate the menu with great suggestions. We ordered “Shrimp & Crabmeat Salad with Asian Sesame Vinegar” from appetizers menu. It was fresh, light and served with the perfect dressing. For entrée, we ordered “Pineapple Wagyu Burger with Fries” and “Sliced Lamb Teppan Pasta”. The burger patty was juicy and well-seasoned, and the pasta arrived sizzling hot with a rich, creamy sauce. To end on a sweet note, we shared the “Purple Yam Special Golden Toast” and “Durian Mousse Cake”. The toast was beautifully presented and big enough for four, while the mousse cake was smooth and full of flavour.

Longtime fan of the unagi omurice with cheese at their uptown location. Visited their downtown spot for the first time and definitely has a more downtown-night-out vibe. Went for lunch and got the lunch special: seaweed salad and edamame appetizer, a main, and mango pudding dessert. For my main, I got the chicken wrap with fries (fairly standard chicken wrap, though wrap was a bit too oily and there was an interesting gummy tteokbokki like taste). Also added the durian shake (strong flavour which i loved). Service and kitchen were quick. Lunch special price was great, especially these days. Overall, a good downtown spot if you want some asian fusion.

This place has a huge menu, with nice labelled photos of the dishes making it easy to spot something that looks good. Cocktails were delicious. The restaurant was a little noisy, and a group of young boys were going crazy with the stop clock challenge on the wall next to our table, but overall was pretty nice. Also order your food in rounds, we ordered everything at once and our meal was brought at weird intervals, so order your drinks first, wait then order your apps, wait then order your mains, etc.
